Full Time Office PC Technician

Job Description
Technician will troubleshoot and fix PC hardware and software problems.  The position will be primarily take place at the QCS office in Meridian.  

Job Requirements
-Experience repairing computers
-High school graduate, at least 18 years of age

Required Skills
Desktop Operating Systems (98, ME, 2000, XP)
Driver Installation (video, modem, sound, network)
Internet Troubleshooting
Spyware and Virus Removal
PC Tune Up and optimization
Hardware diagnosis and repair 

Compensation
$10-$14/ hour depending on experience

 Before the Interview
We are only interviewing individuals who are serious about this position.  A serious candidate will do all of the following:

• Demonstrate ability to diagnose and repair software problems.  There will be a practical test.  You do not need to be a computer czar, but you need to know how to fix computer and Internet-related problems.  If you do receive a job offer it will be based on your knowledge and experience.
•  Come prepared with a clean copy of your resume and several references.  Good references include previous employers, supervisors, teachers, professors, community leaders, etc.  Good references do not include your friends or family.  We do not hire anybody without checking references first.
• Dress Professional.  Do not come to the interview dressed like a slob.  Come dressed to show us you are a professional and really want this job.
• Do NOT ask the question, “So what position am I interviewing for?”

Hours: 40 hours per week--9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Less hours are available for students or others who can’t work a full 40 hour week.  
Pay: $10-$14 (DOE)

Bonuses: We reward our productive employees with quarterly bonuses as well as product commissions.
